My dad called in for jury duty on the day of. HELP!?

I kept calling for the past week when the phone told me to. It was always from 5 - 9 pm. then on thursday it said to call today at 12 -12:30. then i called and it said that he has to go to la court on civic center way TODAY at 1:30 pm. He is now blaming me for not telling him before. But the electronic thing told me nothing thaty he had to go today. What can i do?! How can i get him out?
