If a judge can reverse a jury's decision, why bother with a jury?

Damn good question. Personally I think the jury system is the worst possible way to have a trial, made a million times worse by our justice system being nothing but a GAME! The only things that matter in a courtroom are the rules. The facts, if not meaningless, are definitely secondary. It is only a question if trial by judge(s) would be any better.
