Franklin & bash question?

i was watching this show. And for people who do not know its about two lawyers defending people. in one of the episode one of the lawyers kissed his client in court in order to prove that she was attractive to the jury. then in another episode one of the lawyers started drinking beer in court to prove how long it take for someone to get drunk. could lawyers do this in court or is the show over very exaggerated
