Wisdom teeth are coming in, will they shift my other teeth before I get them removed?

I started experiencing a dull aching in the back of my jaw on Wednesday, saw the dentist yesterday, and am scheduled to have my wisdom teeth extracted in 10 days. It feels like the teeth are coming in but they dont' have a lot of room, and my teeth feel tight at times, a feeling I used to experience when I had braces. The xray indicated that they are not impacted. I have great teeth now, but I am afraid my teeth will shift before I have them removed. Is this possible?
