How much would it cost to get a fixed dental bridge vs a removable one?

I am 30 years old and have always had bad teeth...runs in my family it seems like. I am missing one tooth on the top at the side of my mouth. I am wondering how much it would cost to get a fixed bridge vs. a removable one. Or should I go with an implant ans how much would that cost me? Tried to get a quote from some dentists but they want me to come in to the office first. Just trying to get a round about figure before I go.
